Great all-day fun on your adventure touring motorcycle, punctuated by a gathering of good folks sharing a hot meal at the end of the day and great prizes will make this fund-raising event one you'll remember for a long time.
A combination of paved and unpaved roads, the Adventure Tour segment provides a great day of motorcycling through North Georgia's most scenic areas at the beginning of the foliage season.
Four route segments take the rider along roads carefully selected by experienced local riders. An ample lunch is provided. At each of the three checkpoints, the rider gets a poker card for chances to win exciting prizes and directions to the next segment.
The Adventure Tour route is about 250 miles, 75% paved roads, 25% dirt and gravel roads. The gravel roads on the route are suitable for large adventure touring motorcycles such as BMW GS and Suzuki V-Strom. Knobby tires are not required and not desirable. Because of the many miles of paved road, the route is NOT well-suited for small, knobby-tired dual sport motorcycles, including converted enduro motorcycles. A dual-sport type route sheet holder or a tank-top map holder will come in handy!
